Oxford Bus Museum

The museum illustrates 200 years of transport by bus, car and cycle, from the 1821 ‘Dandy horse’ bicycle, via the 1881 horse tram to the buses and cars of the twentieth century. The buses, cars and cycles are complemented by numerous transport-related artefacts like road signs, models and ticket machines. Almost all areas are wheelchair-accessible. Visitors can board many of the buses and on some days bus rides are available. The museum has a café and a shop.
