We currently collect and process the name, email address and telephone number of people nominated as contacts for OMC member museums.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by your museum so we can maintain membership records of OMC members.
We use the information that you have given us in order to keep you informed about matters relating to OMC.
We will never share your personal or financial details with any other organisation.
You are able to remove your consent at any time by unsubscribing to our newsletter or by contacting [email protected].
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored in our contact database (Mailchimp) and on our membership record held by the Treasurer.
We keep membership details for two years after you leave. We will then dispose of your information by deleting your details from our membership records.
How to complain
If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can make a complaint to us at [email protected].

Approval and review
This Policy was approved by the OMC Executive Council on 13 May 2021. It will be reviewed every two years.
